- The Bible:
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible and inerrant Word of God and is the final authority for faith and life.
- Jesus Christ:
We believe that Jesus Christ came as God in the flesh, born of a virgin. We believe that Jesus Christ is both 100 percent man and 100 percent God. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity. We believe that Jesus lived a sinless and perfect life and paid the price for man’s salvation by dying on the cross. We believe that He is the Savior of the world providing life and liberty to all who believe; that he is Lord of all; and that he is the only head of the church.
- Holy Spirit:
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and is God. We believe that the believer is filled with the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the grantor of spiritual gifts and is the earnest of God to the believer.
- God the Father:
We believe that Jehovah is the first person of the Trinity and is the eternal, all powerful, all loving and all gracious God. We believe that God is sovereign and is actively involved in the affairs of the world and individual lives. We believe that God is ruling and reigning.
- Salvation:
We believe that man’s eternal destiny is determined by a personal relationship with the Lord through trusting him as savior. We believe that salvation is an eternal work of God’s grace for those who truly receive him as savior and that the believer’s eternal salvation is secure.
- Priesthood of the Believer:
We believe that individual believers should live a holy and dedicated life in this world for the Lord. We believe in the individual priesthood of the believer which allows us to talk directly to God without having to go through a mediator.
- The Church:
We believe in the autonomy of the local Church, that it is to be a self-governing body without outside interference. We believe in the New Testament model of the Church, as found in Acts 2:42-47, and that it is the model for today’s church.
- The Ordinances of the Church:
We believe in two ordinances of the Church: The Lord’s Supper and baptism by immersion. Baptism is a picture of salvation through the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. The Lord’s Supper is a picture of fellowship with Christ and is a reminder of His death and promise to return for His church.
- Evangelism:
We believe in personal evangelism, as well as other means of sharing the Gospel. We believe that the church is God’s chosen instrument to share the truth of the Gospel, which is to be shared with all people.
- Discipleship:
We believe that the church is called and commissioned to make disciples that make disciples. Discipleship begins with a person receiving Christ as savior, matures in their walk and faith and ends with that person leading others to follow Christ.
- The Rapture of the Church:
We believe in the pre-millennial, physical return of Christ to rapture the Church, to evermore be with Him.
